Issue 1: “Hidden Gems,” our debut issue, sold out in the first week it was released. At the Long Island Punk Flea at the Amityville Music Hall in July, the zine nearly sold 100 copies. Readers were eager to have something tangible and were excited to read everything. The 13 page issue features interviews with: Illustrator Robin Eisenberg, farmer Elizabeth Rexer, and Long Island hardcore band Bitch Switch. There are beautiful illustrations by Stephanie Guglielmo and Kristin Ryan Shea.
